Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses entering service in London; planned fleet of 8

The first of a planned fleet of eight hydrogen fuel cell buses in London will start operating on 18 December. The buses will form the only hydrogen bus fleet in the UK and the largest currently in Europe. The buses are joining a fleet which also includes 100 hybrid buses.

Four i-MiEVs join Transport for London Fleet

Transport for London (TfL) added four Mitsubishi i-MiEVs into its fleet as part of Mayor Boris Johnson’s plans to make London the electric vehicle capital of Europe. Electric vehicle lease scheme launched in London with 50 LEAFs; enrolled in EV trials
