IFQC annual ranking of gasoline sulfur standards sees progress around the world; US drops to 46th

Montenegro leaped 48 slots, from 89 th place in 2010 to 41 st in this year’s ranking. The increased pressure to further focus on vehicle emissions and fuel efficiency performance has driven the US and other countries to evaluate the adequacy of their fuel and vehicle standards. The United States placed 46 th , down two slots.
