Osage Bio Energy: Winter Barley Ethanol as Advanced Biofuel for RFS-2
Green Car Congress
MARCH 15, 2010
An advanced biofuel has a carbon footprint that is 50% or less of conventional gasoline and OBE plans to start the certification process by Q4 2010. These add up to reduced carbon impacts to grow/harvest feedstock. This results in reduced carbon impact on transportation/distribution of the barley feedstock and finished fuel ethanol.
