Audi RS models – performance flagships set to pick up plug-in hybrid tech as early as 2021. Audi A6 e-Tron – concept car points to sleek large luxury sedan powered only by electricity. BMW M cars – they’re coming with hybrid drivetrains. Likely to arrive in Australia late in 2021. Soon, apparently.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles.
