In China, Wuling launched its first electric minivan, the Rong Guang EV, and Chevrolet launched four new Monza variants featuring 48V mild hybrid technology. In China, General Motors, its subsidiaries and its joint venture entities sell vehicles under the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Holden, Baojun and Wuling brands.

General Motors and its joint ventures delivered 461,716 vehicles in China in the first quarter, down 43.3% Cadillac deliveries topped 26,800 units (-40% y-o-y). The CT4 sedan being launched in China this month will give Cadillac its strongest and most complete lineup ever, enabling it to compete in all key luxury segments.

General Motors and its joint ventures had record June deliveries in China of 273,563 units, which was up 11.2% The Buick, Cadillac and Baojun brands had their best June ever. Cadillac deliveries in June jumped 34% on an annual basis to 9,552 units. Demand for the Rong Guang V minivan was up 20%. on an annual basis.

General Motors and its joint ventures sold a May record 231,183 vehicles in China. Chevrolet sales in China were up 13.1% Cadillac sales were down 2.2% Demand rose for its entire minivan lineup. Demand was up 21.3% from the same month in 2011 and 1.7% from April of this year. Shanghai GM’s domestic sales rose 7.1%

Buoyed by strong demand for the Chevrolet brand and ongoing positive demand for its other brands, GM sales totaled 196,004 units.
