Used Priuses, especially the Generation 2 that were made from 2004 to 2009 are becoming a bargain to buy, especially for the MPG and features you get in return. It was time to buy our first car. I was nervous as this was the first time that I was buying a car, so the experience was new to me. How did it all start?

Required reading: Bill Moore's EVWorld review and Martin Zimmerman's LA Times piece about their test drives of the Toyota Plug-in Prius and the hydrogen fuel cell Highlander FCHV. It also spreads doubt about the enviro bona fides of plug-ins. Third-party and DIY converters can't muck with every system on a car.

As far as Maverick buyers, most of whom will be buying their first pickup, they will unknowingly become hybrid ambassadors. Who will buy the all-new 2022 Ford Maverick? Regardless who buys it, the Maverick is a success already for Ford and is a key piece in the company’s future. A pretty good problem to have.

Light and plug where it’s needed. The Flexbed has been designed for multi-purpose use, and may be one of the reasons you consider buying a Maverick.

My friend (same one who made the ice cream truck sound effect comment to me) asked me if this was some kind of conspiracy from gasoline advocates to try and further delay mass acceptance of EVs. Motor Trend Magazine has extensive coverage of all cars online including road tests, free videos, buying guides, etc.
