Researchers Finds Lake Tanganyika Has Experienced Unprecedented Warming Over Last Century

A team of researchers led by Brown University has found that Lake Tanganyika in east Africa—the second-oldest and the second-deepest lake in the world—has experienced unprecedented warming in the last century. An estimated 10 million people live near the lake, and they depend upon it for drinking water and for food.
