Once up and running in 2025, the plant is expected to build up to 150,000 EVs annually. The EV maker was quick to follow with its own promotional program.

Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) automaker VinFast announced it would build an integrated EV facility in Tamil Nadu, India. Over half of VinFast’s 1H23 sales were to parent company VinGroup’s taxi firm Both parties agreed to work towards a total investment of $2 billion into the EV facility.
