The all-new Buick LaCrosse Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) made its global debut at the 2016 Buick Day event in Shanghai, where the award-winning Buick Avista concept was also shown for the first time in China. Both models will be appearing on the Buick stand at Auto China 2016 in Beijing, which begins on 25 April.

The Cadillac CT6 Plug-In, Buick VELITE 5 extended-range electric vehicle and Baojun E100 electric vehicle are among the models that have already been launched in the domestic market. Buick recently announced plans to introduce the VELITE 6 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, followed by the VELITE 6 electric vehicle.

The Saturn version of the two-mode plug-in hybrid at the Milford Proving Grounds. GM is producing 2 vehicles a day with the goal of having a total of 76 vehicles available by the end of the summer; these vehicles will be used for validation testing ranging from fit and finish reviews, to durability testing to eventual crash testing.
