Thailand’s EV industry growing rapidly

According to the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand, the number of companies that are part of Thailand’s electric vehicle industry has risen significantly since 2015, from 76 to 420 in 2019. The ASEAN member states are Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Japan launches first global hydrogen supply chain demo project; liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) technology

Four Japanese companies—Chiyoda, Mitsubishi, Mitsui and. The project entails building a hydrogenation plant in Brunei Darussalam and a dehydrogenation plant in Kawasaki’s coastal region of Japan using Chiyoda’s SPERA Hydrogen Technology. Hydrogen gas will then be extracted from the liquid in Kawasaki and supplied to consumers.
