Li-ion battery provider Octillion Power Systems is working with the reborn FNM (now Fábrica Nacional de Mobilidades) in Brazil to produce battery-electric trucks; FNM has selected Octillion as the official battery supplier for the coming lineup. FNM was founded in 1942 and was the first truck manufacturer in Brazil.

Iveco, FPT Industrial and Bosch presented the Iveco Trakker Bi-Fuel Ethanol- Diesel vehicle at Agrishow, held last week in Ribeirão Preto, the largest agricultural fair in Brazil. The facility will focus on manufacturing catalysts that can removeNO x as well as particulates and hydrocarbons from the engine exhaust of diesel vehicles such as buses and trucks.
