Maserati says the top speed is a stunning 203 mph, which we believe, but did not attempt, making it the fastest vehicle in its class. One of the most annoying thing about cars that pretend to be a sports sedan, but really aren’t, is their faux or overpowering exhaust note. Sometimes you just have to have fun! We spent a week in the smallest Genesis sedan that is designed to take-on the BMW 3-series and Mercedes-Benz C-class sports sedans and found it was a lot of well-engineered car for the money. But in a 110-mile all-freeway run with the adaptive cruise control set to 65 mph, and using Stop and Go , we achieved 29.3 Tailored to be driven.

Maserati says the top speed is 187 mph, making this luxury SUV a fast grocery-getter. The design is just different enough that it is easily differentiated from its closest competitors—the BMW X5, Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S and the Porsche Cayenne. The automatic transmission evenly distributes power to all four wheels on an as-needed basis.

Where we did much better was on a 102-mile freeway run in either Eco or Smart mode and with the adaptive cruise control set at 65 mph, we achieved 27.5 The GV70 competes against premium small SUVs including the Acura RDX , Audi Q3, BMW X3, Buick Envision , Lexus NX , Lincoln Corsair, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Tesla Model Y and the Volvo XC60.

Where we did much better was on a 110-mile freeway run, in either Eco or Smart mode and with the smart cruise control set at 65 mph, achieving 31.5 Below in the lower fascia are dual horizontal exhaust ports. In 268 miles driving through Southern California, aided by the idle stop/start, we averaged 23.8 Carefully Crafted Interior.
