This makes it possible for the waste heat from the electrical drive components to be made available to the interior of the Q7 e-tron quattro. An outer skin made from carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) encases the inner aluminum shell. It had a 110 kW electric motor, and a nickel-metal hydride battery served as a buffer.
