The PHEV’s exterior retains the regular 745’s Adaptive LED headlights with Adaptive LED brake lights, enormous front grilles and massive dual-exit exhaust outlets, a panoramic sunroof, fender vents and standard 18” wheels. A 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system is standard. A Federal Tax Credit will knock off $5,836.

The RAV4 Hybrid boasts several advantages over the standard RAV4, including a smoother powertrain and better fuel economy. Unlike the two previous generations of RAV4s with plugs (one of them was a collaborative effort with Tesla), the 3rd generation 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime is a plug-in hybrid vehicle which sets lots of new standards.

Support taxing of fossil fuels and using the subsidies to support the shift to Electric Vehicles, with the right incentives and political will change can happen very quickly. There are companies that even offer ways that you can make a profit from these chargers. In Norway they have made a huge shift to electric vehicles in a very short time.

John Voelcker There is already really a de facto standard. Market 10 years ago—we sold six figures of Leafs—those used a different standard called CHAdeMO.
