Honda Cars had launched the Elevate SUV in India in September 2023. Honda Elevate is the only SUV from the Japanese auto giant in India. It rivals the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara in the compact SUV segment. The SUV was launched at an introductory price of 11 lakh (ex-showroom).

Honda sold about 1 lakh Elevate SUVs in the past 18 months and about 59 per cent of cars sold were ZX trim. The Honda Elevate is a boxy SUV and is exported to countries like Japan, South Africa, Nepal and Bhutan. Additionally, about 79 per cent of buyers opted for the Honda Elevate SUV mated to a CVT transmission.

The SUV looks more butch and slim headlamps. In India, the compact SUV is offered with the 1.2-litre litre turbo petrol engine tuned for 108 bhp and 215 Nm as the only powertrain option, paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic. The Euro-spec C3 Aircross will be available in a seven-seater configuration as well.
