The EPA has rated the GV80’s fuel economy at 21 mpg city/25 highway/23 combined. Where we did much better was on a 110-mile freeway run, in either Eco or Smart mode and with the smart cruise control set at 65 mph, achieving 31.5 It wasn’t easy, but cracking 30 mpg on the open road was a nice surprise in this size of car.

Maserati says the top speed is a stunning 203 mph, which we believe, but did not attempt, making it the fastest vehicle in its class. The EPA estimates fuel economy to be 13 mpg city/20 highway/16 combined running on 91 octane. The base Ghibli engine is a Ferrari-based 3.0-liter Something borrowed, something gray.
