Cummins scaling Belgium electrolyzer manufacturing capacity to 1GW through IPCEI support

First cargo vessel operating on hydrogen to debut in Paris; commercial river operations this year

The European innovation project Flagships will deploy the world’s first commercial cargo transport vessel operating on hydrogen, plying the river Seine in Paris. Commercial operations are set to commence in 2021. The new vessel will be tasked with moving goods on pallets and in containers along the river Seine.

European Fast-E project launches; 278 fast-charging points in Germany and Belgium

sennder and Cabot Corporation complete one of Europe’s first cross-border transportations using a heavy-duty electric truck

In a pilot electric trucking project, sennder transported 17+ tonnes of product for Cabot from the port of Rotterdam to Antwerp, Belgium and then returned to base—a round trip covering a distance of more than 300 km (186 miles). The pilot project was conducted to test the long-term capabilities of 40+ tonne electric trucks.
