In 2020, Volkswagen Passenger Cars delivered more than 212,000 electric cars in total (+158 percent versus 2019), including nearly 134,000 battery electric vehicles (+197 percent versus 2019). in Germany in the BEV market and 23% in the Netherlands. This brought the share of BEV and hybrid vehicles in Europe up to 12.4%

The V2X Charger is connected to the building’s energy supply and, when the building generates more solar power than it needs, this excess energy is stored in the battery of the electric car.

Skoda to set up second life battery hubs to power its retailers. Skoda will use second-hand lithium-ion batteries from its PHEVs and BEV models to power its retailer network. It will install power hubs across all its retailer network which is made from lithium-ion batteries sourced from its old electric vehicles.
