Below $30,000! MG 2 coming in 2025 to shatter electric car price barrier

Chinese-owned MG is hatching a cheaper sibling to its current all-electric MG 4 that will share tech but be priced from less than €20,000 ($33,000) when it makes its debut in 2025. When it lands, expect a battery size of around 44kWh that should provide for a range of more than 320km for the cheapest versions.

It looks like the Chetak’s being delivered this year will have a Made in India battery pack which is fantastic news. The software features are virtually non-existent.
