Bot features include pedestrian-safe technology from the iBot, plus technology such as LiDAR and multiple cameras, allowing the battery-powered bot to be aware of its surroundings.

Axion supplying PbC batteries to Norfolk Southern for all-battery switcher and working on line-haul hybrid locomotives; micro-hybrid and stationary expansion

In April, Axion Power International Inc received an order from Norfolk Southern Corp (NS) for PbC lead-carbon batteries for use in an all-battery-powered switcher locomotive. The Crescent Corridor is a 2,500-mile (4,023-km) rail network supporting the supply chain from Memphis and New Orleans to New Jersey.
