Following Gdynia, the city of Wroclaw, Poland has ordered 11 fully electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro G articulated buses. The vehicles are to be delivered to the municipal transportation company in the third quarter of 2023. The heating and air conditioning system is based on a CO 2 heat pump connected to a water circuit.

At the beginning of October, series production for battery-electric city buses started successfully at the MAN plant in Starachowice, Poland, beginning with the Lion’s City E in the 12-meter solo version. The first customer vehicles are now rolling off the assembly line for the Hamburg Holstein transport company (VHH).
