EV Grinning, we have just completed our conversion from gas to electric, two weeks ago the Fiero passed it's safety test with no problems. We have had a few road tests, trying to find the actual range per charge. So the upgrades start and the quest for extended range, speed and performance start.

Conversions are mostly for the Prius, with a few for the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner hybrid SUVs. At these prices, people are buying the "environmental feature" -- they want to be among the first owners of the worlds cleanest extended-range vehicles. PHEVs with "Good Enough to Get Started" batteries.
