The good news about the list of EV and PHEV sales from last year is there were 86 models listed, though several were cars that have gone out of production (like my Chevy Volt) but still managed to have a few laggards left for sale. Tesla and GM both exceeded the state’s 200,000-unit sales cap on rebates.

According to SupChina.com , the 10 largest EV producers in China based on domestic sales are: Tesla BYD SAIC Motor SAIC Volkswagen SAIC-GM-Wuling NIO Xpeng Li Auto WM Motor Geely. Of course, everything has its drawbacks and one problem with charging at home is that it is not an option available for some city dwellers.
