Ford Motor Company is lowering the fuel economy ratings for its 2013- and 2014-model year hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles, as well as most 2014-model year Fiestas. Consumers’ expectations around the performance and purchase price of electric vehicles are so divergent from the actual offerings available today, that no more than 2–4% of consumers worldwide would have their expectations met, according to a new survey from Deloitte. The Deloitte survey found global consumer interest in EVs is high.

Great as that was, Hyundai was not done as work was underway for the refreshed and updated 2025 Tucson Hybrid that is now in dealers.
