Its published results showed the average Chevrolet Volt PHEV drove 9100 miles a year on electricity compared with the average Nissan Leaf all-electric car driving 9500 miles a year on electricity alone. A thinking person should ask, “How did the Leaf owner travel the unaccounted miles, the ones that were not e-miles?”
