The new batteries offer 42% extra energy capacity and can as a result deliver up to 450 km (280 miles) total range from one charge. The extra energy can also be used for city driving tasks in long shifts without requiring a recharge. The higher capacity means that fewer batteries are needed for the same power available today.

At 175kW of output, the RT175-S can provide 171 kilometers (106 miles) of range to an EV in as little as 10 minutes. But I will say it is absolutely the fastest charging EV available today. The Air sedan is capable of recharging its batteries from 10-80% in just 20 minutes , provided that the vehicle is using a 300 kW charger. . A lot of people are asking for the results of my @LucidMotors Air DC fast charge recording.

Short Driving Range and Speed: Due to limited technological advancement in this area and limited battery life, most of the electric cars can go for about 100 to 150 miles and need to be recharged again. Recharge Time: A normal electric car takes anywhere between 8 to 10 hours to charge up fully before it can be taken out for a spin.
