Hyundai Motor Group Previews Integrated Snow Chain Tech

Hyundai Motor Group have introduced a novel snow chain that’s integrated directly into the tire. Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia state that the technology relies on “shape memory alloy modules that are located inside the wheel and tire.” The technology is patent-pending in both South Korea and the United States.
