Chinese carmaker Jianghuai Automobile Co.,Ltd. JAC) shipped 500 ethanol-powered cars to Brazil at the end of December, the first batch resulting from a deal signed in August with Brazilian dealer SHC to export 620,000 units to Brazil over the next ten years. JAC will send 1,500 more units this month, and 2,500 cars in February.

Sanyo Electric recently announced an agreement with Suzuki Motor to supply lithium-ion battery systems for the Swift Plug-in Hybrid. The plug-in is powered by a 55 kW, 180 N·m AC synchronous motor and a 2.66 The new model will serve as a demonstration experiment and the experiment will be implemented at Suzuki dealers from this autumn.

The 2023 Hyderabad E-Motors show, which will take place as part of the annual Hyderabad E-Mobility Week, was inaugurated by IT Minister KT Rama Rao of Telangana at the Hitex Exhibition Center on Wednesday. Minster showcased Citroen India’s eC3 all-electric car, Electric Hop’s OXO, and Quantumev India’s Plasma car.
