Following the development phase at Rheinmetall’s Neckarsulm plant in southwest Germany, the glass fiber springs were recently installed in the test vehicle at the cooperation partner’s location under conditions of strict secrecy. Further development work with other leading automobile manufacturers is already underway.

A new study by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has found that there are currently 6.2 million trucks, Poland has the largest truck fleet, followed closely by Germany (1,010,742) and Italy (946,393). Almost 98% of all these trucks run on diesel, according to the 2021 Vehicles in Use report.

In September 2020, the EU passenger car market registered the first increase of the year, according to figures from the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA). Losses were seen in Spain (-13.5%) and France (-3.0%), while Italy (+9.5%) and Germany (+8.4%) showed solid gains. Registrations grew by 3.1%
