Rheinmetall develops glass fiber suspension spring

Following the development phase at Rheinmetall’s Neckarsulm plant in southwest Germany, the glass fiber springs were recently installed in the test vehicle at the cooperation partner’s location under conditions of strict secrecy. ACEA study finds 100-fold increase in zero-emission trucks needed in EU fleet in 10 years to meet goals

A new study by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has found that there are currently 6.2 million trucks, Poland has the largest truck fleet, followed closely by Germany (1,010,742) and Italy (946,393). Almost 98% of all these trucks run on diesel, according to the 2021 Vehicles in Use report.
