Hybrids shine as EU new-car market sees summer growth

According to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association ( ACEA ), the increase was driven by hybrids , including full and mild hybrids. Backward BEVs Battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) also suffered a bad result in July. The EU new-car market reached a total of 852,051 registrations in July, a 0.2% year-on-year increase.
