A new study by a team from Aarhus University in Denmark has found that car dealerships pose a significant barrier to electric vehicle adoption at the point of sale due to a perceived lack of business case viability in relation to gasoline and diesel vehicles. According to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association ( ACEA ), the increase was driven by hybrids , including full and mild hybrids. Meanwhile, the Czech Republic (up 8.5%), Romania (up 7.9%), Austria (up 7.6%) and Denmark (up 2.5%) also increased volumes. Elsewhere, BEV volumes in Denmark jumped 51.3%
