The integrated compressor with drive motor, however, uses the recuperated energy immediately through the clutch connecting it to the traction motor. In tropical countries like Singapore, up to half the battery’s capacity is used to power the air-conditioning system. The team is applying for a Proof-Of-Concept (POC) grant in Singapore.
