In a simultaneous—and video linked—unveil in New York, London and Beijing, BMW introduced the production version of its i3 battery-electric vehicle on Monday. In addition to the LifeDrive architecture, the principle of lightweight design also governs the aluminium drive module and the connection between the two elements.
