Hybrids shine as EU new-car market sees summer growth

According to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association ( ACEA ), the increase was driven by hybrids , including full and mild hybrids. Compared to other EU member states, only the smaller markets of Greece and Bulgaria could beat this rate of growth. The technology sits just over 22,000 units behind diesel.
