If our country is going to spend money like a drunk sailor we should have spent it on building renewable energy power plants like Wind and Geothermal. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. The mines in Canada where the nickel & cadmium are mined is one of the most polluted places on Earth.
