Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and the government of Thailand agreed to start joint study for fleet testing of electric vehicles (EV). MMC, through its local producer and distributor Mitsubishi Motors Thailand (MMTh), will begin initiatives for future market introduction of the i-MiEV.

Separately, the company will debut to the China market its 48-volt Micro Hybrid battery demonstration module ( earlier post ) at the 15 th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2013). The battery restarts the engine when the driver’s foot releases the brake pedal or engages the clutch.
