If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. They SHOULD be focusing on the Volt, alongside "greening up" their other models. needs to have an indigenous automobile industry, and not merely "transplants". The EV1s failure was a failure of Management. Never again.
