To be honest, we’ll be very lucky to see that many.

We noted in December that the Society of Automotive Engineers, or SAE, was working to update standards for the interface between plug-in electric cars and the grid, and planned to agree on a set within months. And for this ecosystem to be robust, there must be commonality, especially when owners are plugging into the electrical grid.

Since the general auto market remained slumped, global EV market share increased nicely from 2.8% France’s auto industry is probably the largest Western auto industry that goes completely under the radar in the US. If Norway also had an auto or EV-battery industry, no country could catch it in the charts. Yup, yup, yup.
