Karma Automotive’s planned distribution strategy will use both independent dealers and also company owned brand-experience centers to sell and service the new high-end Revero plug-in hybrid. The company said it has been curating best-in-class dealers in key markets in preparation for the Revero going on sale later this year.

For instance, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that one auto dealer just outside the city specializing in used EVs actively discourages renters from buying them unless they have access to at-home chargers because of the unreliability of public chargers. And if they make an EV purchase, they often regret it.
