In the coming decade, battery prices will go down, whereas the cost of petrol will keep going up. They are selling electric cars in Europe, the US, and China in large numbers. Chinese auto will play a significant role in the auto industry in the future. Whether you like China or not, that is the reality.

Annual use of an EV should be less than the average cost of $8,000 per year for using a gasoline in many countries including the USA. It is simply the cost of doing business. "On some products, the costs, particularly in advanced technologies, are high," he said in a lengthy interview with Automotive News (free subscription required). A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator.
