No less an auto industry titan as Ford has also made bidirectional charging a selling point of their F-150 Lightning electric truck, reportedly slated to roll off the lines this year. In case of power outage at home, the DC pins in the charger can send juice back into the house, keeping the lights on.

If you buy an EV that lasts a million km, this EV will last 3 times longer than an ICE car. By 2030, most people will choose to buy EV's as it won’t make financial sense to buy a pollution car. Chinese auto will play a significant role in the auto industry in the future. Think about that.

Instead they could buy back electricity at peak hours from vehicle drivers. So while my car is powering the great city during the day how will I have juice to drive home at the end of the day? But it is a price that must be paid, and GM should be commended for remaining committed to the Volt. It isa fundamental change in direction for GM. GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. GM is developing more fuel-efficient vehicles. Thats short-sighted.
