Bills in Virginia General Assembly Seek to Have Automakers Shield Auto Dealers from Financial Impact of Restructuring

A bill currently in the Virginia Senate ( SB 1410 ) would require manufacturers that stop producing a line of cars to buy back unsold cars from dealers, pay up to three years’ rent on the dealership and pay fair market value of the franchise up to its value two years ago. who is also the part owner of a Dodge franchise.
