Ansys releases pre-lockdown global survey on vehicle electrification

Before the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, engineering simulation software company Ansys commissioned a global survey of 16,037 adults resulting in some insights about consumer attitudes toward vehicle electrification. US respondents are split when it comes to when they’ll consider purchasing an EV.

And EV straggler Honda shed a bit more light on its upcoming EVs built on GM’s Ultium battery and powertrain platform. Honda of America sales chief Dave Gardner told reporters one of the electric SUVs will be from the Honda brand, while the other will be an Acura. Honda will offer more details later this year, he said.
