Azure Dynamics Corporation incorporated Aura Systems ’s AuraGen motor/generator into its Balance Hybrid Electric vehicle delivered to the United States Postal Service fleet (USPS). The stators are made from a steel ribbon with copper windings. The AuraGen has a continuous power rating of up to 8.5 s vertical wind turbines.
