On 11 August, GM invited approximately 75 journalists and auto analysts to spend a day learning about the new GM. The day was split between a morning session at the GM tech center in Warren and an afternoon session at the GM proving grounds in Milford, MI. GM’s identify in the US starts with its four core brands.

GM Developing Additional Full Hybrid System for Smaller Vehicles. With the FWD two-mode targeted at larger sedans on up into crossovers and SUVs, and the RWD two-mode applied in full-size SUVs and light trucks, GM has a product gap for an advanced full hybrid offering for smaller, lower-torque engines in more compact vehicles.
