The winning project proposals (by award amount) are: Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, Georgia: $10,800,000. The new Fisher buses will provide more than triple the equivalent fuel economy in all-electric mode and reduce CO2 emissions due to the extensive use of lightweight materials and the large capacity battery system.
