The rebooted ApteraMotors has teamed with Elaphe Propulsion Technologies on a long-range, volume production electric vehicle powered by in-wheel motors. The Elaphe L1500 in-wheel motor achieves the highest torque densities of electric motors on the market, generating 1500 N·m of torque without using any gears.

The Apterasolar-assisted EV will get a carbon-fiber composite body from the same supplier used by supercar makers, to aid in its quest for 1,000 miles of real-world range. In a move that unifies each organization’s vision toward a greener future, SustainabilitySooner has placed a pre-order for 101 400-mile range, all-wheel drive solar electric vehicles to mobilize its team.
