UPS has adopted a plan to cut the carbon emissions of its airline by an additional 20% by 2020 to 1.24 Jet A fuel is the leading source of UPS global enterprise CO 2 emissions at 52.6%, followed by diesel at 32.7%. UPS started replacing 747-200s with the more fuel-efficient 747-400s aircraft in 2007. Click to enlarge.
