With a focus on its mission of sustainability for its residents, the City of Porterville, California is putting 12 electric micro-transit vans into service. The 12 vehicles, all Class 3 Lightning Electric Transit Vans, were developed by Lightning eMotors. They have 86 kWh of battery capacity with a range of 120 miles.

DHL Express has ordered 12 all-electric Alice eCargo planes from Eviation. Eviation expects to deliver the Alice electric aircraft to DHL Express in 2024. It will require 30 minutes or less to charge per flight hour and have a maximum range of up to 815 kilometers (440 nautical miles). Earlier post.)

The sales growth was led by the company’s Recharge line up of fully electric and plug-in hybrid cars. Sales of Volvo Cars’ Recharge models made up 40% of all Volvo cars sold globally during the month. In February 2022, the share of all-electrics was only 8% (3,338 units out of 42,067).

The Jeep brand will showcase a 100% electrified presence at the 2022 Paris Motor Show (Mondial de L’Automobile 2022), with a stand fully dedicated to the introduction of the all-new fully electric Jeep Avenger, the brand’s first BEV. As a result, all the Jeep vehicles on sale in the region will be 100% electric by 2030.
